Job summary

Gamesight seeks a strategic Controller (CPA required) to manage financial reporting, forecasts, and tax compliance. This hands‑on role reports to the CFO and improves processes for accuracy and efficiency across the finance function in a remote SaaS environment.

You will own month‑end close, payroll for W‑2 employees nationwide and international contractors, revenue recognition, and cost of revenue, with a focus on automation and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA and 2–5 years of Controller experience are required.
• Public company experience is a plus but not required.
• Based in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR, AP, and balance sheet reconciliations and accuracy.
• Own payroll administration for US and international workers.
• Manage month‑end close and monthly financial statements.
• Lead FP&A, budgeting, and variance analysis for leadership.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and document accounting policies.
• Maintain and improve accounting system integrations (QBO, Rippling, Brex, Tipalti).
