Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks an AP/EHS Manager to lead safety and loss prevention across its retail market. The role reports to the Director of AP/EHS and partners with operations leadership to mitigate risk and improve inventory performance.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, investigations, and communicating trends to leadership, with oversight of property protections like CCTV, alarms, and fire systems. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience.
• Wicklander-Zulawski certified (or obtain within 3 months of hire).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in asset protection/loss prevention and retail operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy with the VPO to support safety, profitability, and inventory excellence.
• Manage territory shrink and outlier program; analyze trends and root causes.
• Audit markets to ensure policy and procedural compliance.
• Investigate fraud/policy abuse and report findings to leadership.
• Communicate loss and safety trends to operators.
• Support property protection controls (fire, CCTV, alarms, locks).
