Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Sr. Manager, Asset Protection & Environmental Health & Safety (AP/EHS) for the Supply Chain.

This leadership role partners with the Director of AP/EHS and operations leaders to drive safety, security, risk mitigation, and loss prevention across the Distribution Center network. You will lead a team of AP/EHS Managers, develop safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with DCs, HR, Legal, and Transportation to protect people and assets and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Asset Protection, Environmental Health & Safety, Risk Management, or Supply Chain Security
• 5+ years leadership experience supporting multi-site operations
• Experience conducting workplace incident investigations and implementing corrective action programs
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance requirements
• Willingness to undergo extensive background check

Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to implement AP/EHS strategies across Distribution Centers
• Lead and develop a team of AP/EHS Managers across multiple DC locations
• Drive safety performance through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Analyze safety, security, inventory, and operational metrics to identify trends and improvements
• Present findings and action plans to executive and Supply Chain leadership
• Conduct DC assessments, reviews, and facility audits for compliance
• Collaborate with DC Directors and Operations to ensure safety and inventory integrity
• Lead or oversee investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, theft, and policy violations
• Monitor risk indicators such as OSHA recordables and inventory variance
• Support physical security programs including access control and CCTV
• Coordinate with Transportation, Facilities, HR, Legal, and Operations to mitigate risks
• Lead AP/EHS training for DC leadership and staff
• Support crisis management and business continuity planning
