Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks an onsite DC Safety (EHS) & Asset Protection (AP) Manager to lead safety, security and inventory loss control across the distribution center. You will influence leadership, train staff and coordinate rapid responses to incidents.

You will mitigate risks, audit compliance, and develop corrective actions for injuries, shrink and security events while partnering with cross functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail or distribution center safety preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and multi-state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS/AP program within the DC leadership team and drive risk mitigation.
• Investigate incidents, develop corrective actions, and track loss trends.
• Develop loss control strategies and conduct safety training for TMs and contractors.
• Oversee audits, hazmat compliance, and response planning for critical incidents.
• Monitor CCTV and access control; coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve inventory control and safety outcomes.
