Job summary

The City of Seattle's Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) seeks a Program Manager (Manager 2- Information Technology) to lead the Asset & Performance Management portfolio within the Technology & Innovation team. You will drive enterprise asset management modernization, data governance, and integration with ESRI GIS to deliver transparent performance insights for executives and the public.

This role requires strong leadership of analysts and advisors, experience with asset/work order

Qualifications

  • Seven (7) or more years of asset management leadership in a public-sector or large infrastructure organization.
  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, public administration, business, information systems, or a related field.
  • Successful candidates will possess credentials such as IAM, PMP, or Prosci and experience implementing enterprise asset/work order systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Asset and Work Order Management modernization from planning through stabilization.
  • Own enterprise asset data governance with inventories, data dictionaries, QA/QC controls.
  • Integrate asset systems with ESRI GIS and analytics for dashboards and decision support.
  • Advance lifecycle plans and deterioration models for high value assets.
  • Direct enterprise performance reporting to executives and stakeholders.
  • Chair governance forums and coordinate cross-division alignment.
  • Manage and mentor the Asset and Performance Management team.
  • Represent Asset and Performance Management in budget, capital planning, and technology investments discussions.
  • Champion diversity, equity and social justice.
