Job summary

City of Seattle is seeking a Program Manager (IT) to lead SDOT’s Asset & Performance Management portfolio within the Technology & Innovation team. You will oversee strategy, people leadership, and delivery of enterprise asset management capabilities across SDOT, driving system modernization and data-driven decisions for executives, City Council, and the public.

You will coordinate governance, manage a diverse team of analysts and advisors, and ensure lifecycle cost analysis and risk-based

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of asset management leadership in public-sector or large infrastructure
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise asset and work order management modernization from planning through stabilization.
  • Own enterprise asset data governance and establish inventories, data dictionaries, and QA/QC processes.
  • Integrate asset systems with ESRI GIS and analytics for dashboards and decision support.
  • Develop lifecycle plans and deterioration models for high-value assets.
  • Direct enterprise performance reporting to executives and stakeholders.
  • Chair governance forums and ensure cross-division alignment.
  • Mentor the Asset & Performance Management team and recruit as needed.
  • Collaborate with other SDOT divisions on budget and technology investments.
  • Champion diversity, equity and social justice.
