Job summary

Gateway Housing invites applications for a Senior Surveyor / Asset Performance Manager to lead the asset services function. You will oversee repairs, disrepair cases, damp and mould issues, and planned replacements, delivering safe, warm homes and complying with regulations.

You will lead a team, provide technical advice on complex service improvements, and engage stakeholders to ensure resident satisfaction and value for money in delivery of capital investment.

Qualifications

• BSc in Building Surveying or higher diploma level or equivalent
• Comprehensive understanding of UK housing and construction regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyse and evaluate data for proactive repairs service delivery
• Ability to survey and inspect buildings and diagnose faults across trades
• Experience of leading a team or supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of challenging repairs, disrepair cases, structural issues and major defects
• Lead response to Awaab's Law obligations and ensure quality, compliance and value for money
• Provide strategic asset management leadership and expert advice on service delivery improvements
• Participate in call-out arrangements for dangerous structures and safeguarding actions
• Deliver Awaab's Law case management as SME on legislation and changes
• Ensure delivery of planned investment programmes with strong customer engagement
