Job summary

Unifi is seeking a Capital Assets & Lease Senior Accountant/Manager to lead the accounting, governance, and reporting for the Company’s long-term asset portfolio. You will manage fixed assets, leases, CIP, intangible assets, and capitalization of costs under U.S.

GAAP, while supporting month-end close and internal controls. You’ll collaborate with Legal, Real Estate, Procurement, and Operations to ensure accurate financials, audit readiness, and process improvements across asset lifecycle and

Qualifications

• Experience with fixed asset accounting lifecycle and depreciation.
• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting and lease administration.
• Experience tracking startup/capitalized costs and contract-related capital expenditures.
• Ability to reconcile subledgers to general ledger and ensure audit readiness.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
• Prepare depreciation calculations and analyze useful lives and residuals.
• Track CIP and fixed asset clearing accounts; resolve capitalization issues.
• Maintain asset master data and reconcile with GL and asset systems.
• Oversee lease accounting entries, and reconcile lease subledger to GL.
• Monitor startup costs and capitalization decisions for contracts.
• Prepare amortization, impairments, and balance sheet schedules for intangible assets.
