Job summary

Cathay Bank in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Collateral Analyst to assess and monitor collateral for asset-based loans. You will review loan documents, analyze client reporting, and prepare the Monthly Status Report while flagging risks and trends.

Ideal candidates have at least five years in borrowing-base lending, strong data-analytic and mentoring skills, and proficiency with MS Office and data-mining tools. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• College degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of borrowing base asset-based lending operations experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong MS Office, data analysis, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, and examine client collateral information on asset-based loans.
• Post and reconcile sales, verify collateral balances, and AR adjustments.
• Assist with training new customers on reporting procedures.
• Identify unusual trends and discuss with Borrower; inform Loan Portfolio Officers.
• Collaborate with Loan Portfolio Officers to analyze complex information.
• Prepare Monthly Status Report.
