Job summary

The Oshkosh Corporation company (JLG, an Oshkosh brand) is seeking an Assembler II to safely assemble equipment on the production line, following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. The role requires using a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to build components of JLG/Jerr Dan products.

Key duties include wiring, hoses, hydraulics, installing product accessories, and troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of manufacturing or general labor experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto products using safe tools and techniques.
• Read electrical/hydraulic diagrams and troubleshoot components.
• Assist training of new team members on processes and equipment functions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 6S standards.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to resolve defects.
• Operate and test units produced in the assigned function.
