Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an Assembler II to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. You will work on an assembly line across stations, using mechanical, electrical, and manual tools, and troubleshoot various components to ensure quality and reliability.

The role requires reading electrical and hydraulic diagrams, training new team members, and maintaining safety standards. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant manufacturing or general labor experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics using proper tools.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components and read diagrams.
  • Assist training of new team members and operate electronic devices (EQC, MDS, JED, AS400).
  • Maintain a safe, clean 6S-compliant work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Identify and drive corrective actions, verify machine configuration matches sales orders.
  • Operate all units produced in assigned function and use special equipment (torque tools, DC tools, brake bleeders, AC chargers, cab testers).
  • Set/program product units and use tools to troubleshoot and upgrade software.
