Job description

Sr Assembly Technicians (3) needed for a manufacturing company in the Irvine Spectrum.

Long-term temporary position lasting at least 6 months, with the possibility of hire. 1st Shift, paying $26-28/hr, depending on experience. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with an unpaid 1/2 hour lunch. Excellent benefits if hired, including 100% paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employee and family. Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Mechanical and electrical engineering background with strong computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail: Ability to follow detailed procedures (180+ pages) with low error rates.
• Computer skills: Windows, MS Excel, MFT, Executables, and .ini files.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems based on error messages.
• Familiarity with mechanical adjustments, aligning complex optical systems, lasers, and cabling.
• Experience with tools: multimeter, torque driver, pipette, light meter, temperature data logger, laser collimation, oscilloscope, and ESD.
• Manual dexterity and enjoyment of assembly tasks.
• Ability to cope with pressure, setbacks, and adapt to changes.
• Flexibility to shift focus quickly and efficiently.
• Strong ethical standards, following instructions and procedures to ensure product quality.
