Job summary

Komline‑Sanderson is seeking an Assembly Mechanic II to assemble complex mechanical systems across multiple product lines. You will serve as a subject matter expert on assembly practices, troubleshoot processes, and mentor junior team members on the shop floor.

The role focuses on hands-on assembly, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, contributing to equipment delivery for water, wastewater, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools and ability to perform simple math.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across product lines.
• Ensure proper fit of parts by drilling, grinding, or shimming as needed.
• Read and follow engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
• Use a variety of electrical, hydraulic, and air-powered hand tools.
• Prepare assemblies by collecting and organizing parts.
• Prep parts for assembly through blasting and painting.
• Move large parts and machines on the shop floor using forklift or overhead crane.
