Job summary

Komline-Sanderson Corporation is seeking an Assembly Mechanic II in Peapack, NJ to assemble complex mechanical systems and lead critical build processes across multiple product lines. You will be a subject matter expert for assembly practices and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities include assembling sub-assemblies, following drawings, using pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical tools, and moving large parts with forklifts or cranes. 5+ years' experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assemble products or parts.
• Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, ability to interpret visuals, and perform simple math.
• Ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot, and solve problems.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models.
• Ensure proper fit by drilling, grinding, or shimming as needed.
• Read and follow engineering drawings with minimal supervision on complex machines.
• Utilize a variety of electrical, hydraulic, and air tools.
• Prepare assemblies by collecting parts and arranging for assembly.
• Move large parts on the shop floor using forklift or overhead crane.
