Job summary

Komline-Sanderson in New Jersey is seeking an Assembly Mechanic II to assemble complex mechanical systems across multiple product lines. You will serve as a subject matter expert on assembly practices and mentor junior team members.

The role requires 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience, ability to read engineering drawings, operate tools, and work in a fast-paced team while upholding quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assemble products or parts.
• Familiar with assembly and measuring tools, ability to interpret visual aids, and do simple math.
• Ability to operate equipment, troubleshoot, and problem solve.
• Organized with attention to detail and a dedication to quality and safety.
• Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models.
• Read and follow engineering drawings with minimal supervision on complex machines.
• Use electrical, hydraulic, and air activated hand tools.
• Prepare assembly of machines by collecting and organizing required parts.
• Move large parts and machines around manufacturing floor using forklift or overhead crane.
