Barriere Construction Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join the North Shore Asphalt team. The role involves operating a range of heavy machinery, performing routine inspections, and handling maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of road or construction field experience, be able to read and write basic sentences, and perform basic math. Outdoor work in varying weather is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in road or construction outdoors.
• Able to read, understand and write simple sentences and perform simple math.
• Experience operating and maintaining asphalt equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment (e.g., motor graders, excavators, front end loaders, rubber-tire backhoes, dozers).
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties on the jobsite and follow all safety protocols.
