Amazon in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Sr ASIC validation engineer to lead SW-driven pre-silicon validation for Trainium and Inferentia engines. You’ll design testing strategies, develop tests across RTL to firmware, and mentor engineers to raise silicon quality.

You will collaborate with architects, chip design, and software teams, drive validation methodologies, and influence technical investments across multiple generations of AI accelerators.

Competenze

• 6+ years in verification or chip design
• 2+ years HW/SW co-design testing
• 3+ years verifying AI acceleration engines

Mansioni

• Develop, run and debug SW-based tests for pre-silicon validation of compute and AI engines
• Create unit and end-to-end tests across single engines and neural network layers
• Develop tests early and support rapid ramp of Neuron testing on emulation
• Contribute across RTL through firmware and testbench development
• Reuse verification infrastructure across pre-Si and emulation teams
• Collaborate with Architects, Chip Design, Verification and Software teams
• Mentor junior and senior verifiers and guide technical growth
