Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the LEO initiative, focusing on complex ASIC/SOC development across pre- and post-silicon phases for satellites and ground equipment. The role interfaces with cross-functional engineering and program management teams to deliver high-performance, reliable ASIC/SOC solutions.

Responsibilities include creating project execution plans, defining bring-up readiness, and ensuring schedule, cost, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of ASIC development experience (RTL, Verification, Validation, or Product/Test Engineering).
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• 7+ years of working directly with ASIC engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leaders to create project execution plans for ASIC/SOC development considering all criteria to design products that meet power/performance and functional specs for all use conditions.
• Define ASIC bring-up readiness and test plans with ASIC, communication system, EE, and software teams.
• Ensure ASIC/SOC development meets schedule, cost, and quality requirements in collaboration with product/program management.
• Drive engineering project execution, make technical trade-off recommendations, track status, resolve blocking issues.
• Coordinate with Architecture, hardware, software, firmware, packaging and PCB teams to track cross-functional deliverables.
