Job summary

Amazon LEO, part of Amazon Kuiper, seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager for ASIC/SOC development spanning pre-silicon to post-silicon phases. Lead cross-functional teams across architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, and manufacturing to deliver high-performance ASICs for satellites and ground equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of ASIC development experience (RTL, Verification, Validation, or Product/Test Engineering).
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• 7+ years of working directly with ASIC engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leaders to create project execution plans for ASIC/SOC development considering all criteria to design products that meet the power/performance and functional specs for all use conditions.
• Work with ASIC, communication system, EE, and software teams to define ASIC bring-up readiness and test plans.
• Work with product/program management lead to ensure that ASIC/SOC development meets schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Drive engineering project execution, make technical trade-off recommendations, understand the technical challenges, enable solutions, track and report on status, and resolve blocking issues.
• Collaborate with Architecture, hardware, software, firmware, packaging and PCB teams on ensuring cross-functional deliverables are identified and tracked.
• Work with external IP, Fabs, OSAT silicon services and partners to complete the execution of projects in time.
