Job summary

Positron Corporation seeks a senior Power Architect to own the power architecture, estimation, optimization, and verification for its AI accelerator roadmap. You will define the power methodology from architectural modeling through silicon validation, ensuring industry-leading performance-per-watt while meeting power/thermal constraints.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with Architecture, RTL, Backend, Firmware, and Thermal teams, plus expertise in UPF/CPF and advanced

Qualifications

• 12+ years of ASIC design experience.
• Deep expertise in low-power design techniques and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with UPF/CPF power specification and verification flows.
• Expert-level proficiency with PrimePower and Joules or equivalent power analysis tools.
• Strong background working with advanced process nodes.
• Proven experience achieving aggressive power targets in production silicon.

Responsibilities

• Own the power architecture, estimation, optimization, and verification across Positron’s AI accelerator roadmap.
• Define power methodology from architectural modeling through silicon validation.
• Drive power optimization using clock gating, power gating, DVFS, and related techniques.
• Partner with Backend, RTL, Firmware, Thermal, and System Engineering teams.
• Lead power-aware simulation, UPF verification, and wakeup/ sequencing verifications.
• Apply AI-driven tools for power analysis and anomaly detection.
