Job summary

Persimmons, founded in 2023, is building AI infrastructure powering the next generation of AI hardware. We seek a Senior Power Delivery Architect to design the complete power delivery network for our AI accelerator across a multi-chiplet grid, delivering clean, stable power to sub-1V silicon cores in a datacenter rack.

You will own regulator integration (VRMs/CPVR/VPD), craft decoupling strategies, and run electro-thermal and electromagnetic co-simulations with silicon, packaging, and thermal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PhD is a strong plus.
• 8+ years of hands-on power delivery experience in high-density compute or AI accelerators.
• Deep knowledge of rack-to-silicon PDN design, 48V busbar architectures, VRM/CPVR/VPD.
• Proficiency with power delivery simulation tools and high-current design fundamentals.
• Ability to drive cross-domain co-design across silicon, packaging, thermal, and system teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect the rack-to-silicon PDN for a multi-chiplet AI accelerator.
• Own regulator integration strategy with VRMs, CPVR, and VPD.
• Design multi-tier decoupling hierarchy from bulk to on-chip.
• Model di/dt transients and IR drop across a 400-chiplet grid.
• Collaborate with silicon, advanced packaging, and thermal teams for co-simulations.
• Leverage AI to optimize power delivery and automate repeatable tasks.
