Job summary

K2 Space Corporation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior ASIC Emulation Engineer to lead bring-up, deployment, and optimization of pre-silicon emulation platforms. You will work with architecture, RTL, DV, firmware, physical design, and silicon validation teams to enable high‑fidelity hardware/software co‑development and accelerate verification cycles.

This hands‑on role offers ownership across emulation models on Palladium, ZeBu, or Veloce, and you will help shape methodology and debugging

Qualifications

• BS/MS in EE or related field.
• 5+ years in ASIC/SoC development focused on emulation.
• Solid understanding of SystemVerilog, RTL flows, DV methodologies, and ASIC lifecycles.
• Hands-on with Palladium, ZeBu, Veloce for emulation; model build and debug.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and maintain full-chip and system-level emulation models on Palladium, ZeBu, or Veloce.
• Define and evolve emulation strategy, workflows, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with RTL, DV, firmware, and physical design to optimize emulation performance and reliability.
• Develop transactors, BFMs, speed adapters, and virtualization interfaces.
• Support system-level tests and end-to-end workloads in emulation.
• Drive debug across RTL, DV, firmware, and validation teams.
