Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an ASIC Design Engineer for our Santa Clara, CA team. You will implement GPU sub-system modules, perform architectural trade-offs, and deliver fully verified RTL designs meeting timing and power goals.

Requirements include a Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 5+ years of ASIC experience, Verilog RTL development, and strong digital/VLSI background. Level 3/4 salary ranges and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working on ASIC design and development.
• Experience in micro-architecture and RTL development of complex designs in Verilog.
• Exposure to Digital systems and VLSI design, CMOS transistors and circuits.
• Understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing, and floor-planning.
• Prior experience with arbiters, scheduling, synchronization & bus protocols is desirable.
• Knowledge of PCI-Express (Gen 3+) or CXL protocol is helpful; scripting in Python/Perl/C++ is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement GPU sub-system modules and make architectural trade-offs.
• Develop micro-architecture, implement in RTL, and deliver verified, synthesis/timing clean design.
• Support post-silicon validation activities and collaborate with multiple teams.
