Job summary

Silvus Technologies seeks a Senior Business Development Engineer to translate Army operational requirements into winning technical solutions. You will work with Applications Engineering and BD teams to engage Army stakeholders and demonstrate interoperability and field-readiness of our portfolio.

The role requires deep SDR expertise, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50%. 100% remote work is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• 5+ years with SDRs, IP routing, and tactical comms.
• Familiarity with Army procurement pathways and Army Futures Command priorities.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Map Army capability sets to our tactical radio capabilities.
• Identify full product solutions and test end-to-end architectures.
• Design demonstrations tailored to Army needs.
• Lead field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews for proposal accuracy.
• Engage Army program managers and warfare centers to write tech into programs.
• Align with BD team on strategic tech needs.
• Serve as technical anchor for RFI/RFP responses.
• Build trusted relationships with Army engineers and evaluators.
• Translate field feedback into actionable roadmaps.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings and demos.
