Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Development Engineer for US Army initiatives. The role reports to the Director of Applications Engineering and focuses on translating Army requirements into technically sound, winnable solutions, with up to 50% travel and potential for 100% remote work depending on location.

You will collaborate with Engineering and BD teams, design demonstrations, engage Army PMs, support RFI/RFP responses, and build roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in engineering with SDRs and tactical radio systems.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to DoD environments.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Army capability sets and map gaps to tactical radio capabilities.
• Lead demonstrations and field trials with Army teams and partners.
• Collaborate with BD and Engineering to translate needs into specifications.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and ensure proposal accuracy.
