Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Segment seeks an Associate Director to lead client delivery, strengthen relationships, and drive business development across Army domains. The role oversees engagements, staffing, and ensures adherence to financial and quality targets.

The candidate will propel growth, shape client demand, and mentor teams while operating in a fast-paced federal consulting environment requiring an Active Secret clearance and extensive Army experience.

Qualifications

• Active and current Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of federal consulting leadership experience, with 5+ years with the Army.
• Proven ability to drive business development and win federal proposals.
• Expert program/project management leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong leadership and strategic/operational direction capabilities.
• Excellent communication and ability to operate in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage client delivery and oversee engagements within the Army portfolio.
• Strengthen client relationships and drive growth through new opportunities.
• Oversee staff, ensure contractual targets and deliverables meet quality standards.
• Manage engagement economics to align with approved financial parameters.
• Support team development, recruitment, and retention within a collaborative culture.
