Job summary

Serco invites a Forward Planner to join the GLASS team supporting ASC at Fort Knox, KY. You will research policy, coordinate LOGCAP operations, and develop comprehensive contract documentation while liaising with senior DoD stakeholders.

The role requires a security clearance, US citizenship, and 10+ years of logistics experience in a military environment. Travel up to 50% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10 years of logistics experience supporting a Joint, U.S. Army, or HQ.
• Functional understanding of JOPP is required.
• LOGCAP/logistics experience in deployment/combat context is preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent in-depth research and analysis of current and emerging policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues.
• Assist with day-to-day management, synchronization, and coordination for LOGCAP and provide recommendations on operational issues.
• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packages (technical data, exhibits, diagrams), screen for completeness and accuracy.
• Review and prepare briefs and memos in accordance with Army regulations (AR 25-50).
• Monitor events involving new and ongoing operations and exercises requirements.
• Prepare briefings and information papers and update training/exercise files in SharePoint.
