Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Armed Security Supervisor for a federal facility in Springfield, MA. The role oversees a team of Armed Security Officers, monitors daily operations, and enforces security protocols to protect people and property.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a Massachusetts License to Carry, have 2 years of security supervision experience, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A health/welfare supplement of $5.92/hr applies for up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 2 years of Security Supervisor experience.
• Experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role required.
• Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC) required.
• Legal authority to carry and operate a firearm per regulations.
• Schedule flexibility: nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Armed Security Officers on designated shift.
• Oversee day to day site operations (reviewing daily reports).
• Performance management.
• Training, coaching, and counseling of staff.
• Maintain a strong visible presence to enforce order and protect property.
• Conduct patrols and surveillance to prevent hazards, theft, or infractions.
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and daily activity reports (DARs).
• Respond to emergencies and provide security assistance as required.
