Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior electrical engineer to lead ARM server board design and related activities. You will capture schematics, check layouts, create BOMs, and test products while mentoring junior engineers.

You will also prepare comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with specs and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes collaboration across teams, transfer to manufacturing, and providing strong technical support during samples and production stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s strongly desirable.
• Minimum 8 years with ARM server boards is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of digital, analog and power circuit design.
• Knowledge of PCB layout and motherboard design in AI GPU servers is strongly desired.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture schematics, check layouts, create BOMs, debug, and test server board/add-on card products.
• Modify and enhance existing designs to improve server motherboard quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and other teams to identify and resolve engineering issues early.
• Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, layout instructions, and test procedures.
• Ensure products conform to engineering specifications, regulations, and customer expectations.
• Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and provide technical support for product problems.
• Provide documentation and technical support to contract manufacturers and production during sample and production stages.
• Mentor young engineers on the team.
