Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an exceptional PCB Layout Lead to own the physical implementation of complex, high-performance boards for AI systems.

You will translate schematics into production layouts, optimize SI/PI, and collaborate with SI/PI, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing and test teams through prototype to production.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on multi-layer board experience with Cadence Allegro; you will define stackups, routing rules, and DFM/DFT checks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on PCB layout experience on complex, high-speed multi-layer boards.
• Expertise with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and Constraint Manager.
• Knowledge of BGA escape routing, HDI, vias, and high-speed routing.
• Experience with IPC standards and fabrication/assembly release packages.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own multilayer PCB layout from placement through fabrication release.
• Translate schematics and constraints into board designs.
• Define stackups, impedance, routing rules, return paths, and length matching.
• Place and route high-speed digital, power, and analog circuits.
• Apply SI/PI best practices to minimize EMI and noise.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to resolve layout issues.
• Work with fabrication partners to validate stackups and via structures.
• Perform design reviews and create fabrication/assembly release packages.
• Maintain footprints, libraries, and release documentation.
• Support prototype builds and board bring-up through production.
