Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a senior systems engineer to assemble hardware platforms (GPU/CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Storage/Networking), diagnose failures, and implement robust solutions. You will script validation tests, perform Linux benchmarks, and generate detailed reports, collaborating with Engineering and cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle.

This role requires strong problem solving, deep hardware knowledge, and a track record of delivering reliable test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in EE, CE or ME.
• 8+ years of system engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, Linux Shell, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of server hardware and architecture (GPU/CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Storage/Networking).
• Experience in system testing, validation, and performance benchmarking.
• Experience configuring and administering Linux.

Responsibilities

• Assemble GPU/CPU/Motherboard/Memory/Storage/Networking systems.
• Diagnose root causes of system failures and isolate components.
• Develop and maintain test scripts for validation tests.
• Perform Linux OS-level benchmarking, validation, testing, driver and software stack testing and debugging.
• Generate and publish comprehensive test reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering and Component Managers) on assigned projects.
