Zusammenfassung

The Event Manager at Golden 1 Center oversees planning, coordination, and execution of arena events for the Sacramento Kings, acting as a primary liaison among clients, promoters, internal departments, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.

From advance planning to load-out, the role ensures contractual requirements, financial considerations, and facility standards are communicated and executed, with on-site leadership during events and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree preferred in Sports Administration, Facility Management, Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in event management, arena operations, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients, promoters, vendors, teams, and leaders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with TMSS or similar event management software preferred.
• Customer service oriented with a solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate event logistics as primary contact for clients, promoter reps, and internal departments.
• Lead advance planning and create event materials (facility maps, floor plans, estimates).
• Prepare and manage event estimates and settlements with proper documentation.
• Review and execute event contracts and operational requirements.
• Partner with clients to fulfill contractual requirements and optimize operations.
• Serve as on-site facility representative during pre-rigs, load-ins, events, and load-outs.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with BOH, Box Office, Catering, Concessions, Finance, FOH, Marketing, Merchandise, and Security.
• Communicate deadlines and requirements including insurance, permits, and pyrotechnics.
• Develop and maintain ticketing manifests and event configurations with Box Office.
• Coordinate I.A.T.S.E. stagehand labor calls as needed.
• Coordinate delivery, operation, and return of rental equipment.
• Create and maintain event templates in TMSS.
• Support arena operations projects and select Kings games.
