HHM Hotels in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks a Senior Area Sales Manager to lead strategic sales for a portfolio of hotels, driving guest satisfaction and overall revenue.

You will architect and execute comprehensive sales plans, manage Tier 1 accounts, coordinate with Revenue Management, Operations and Catering, and represent the brand at industry events to strengthen executive relationships.

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven success in hospitality sales.
• Degree preferred (Associate or Bachelor's) in Hospitality or related field.
• Experience coordinating with multiple hotel departments to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to maximize hotel revenue.
• Manage and nurture Tier 1 accounts and executive relationships.
• Coordinate with Revenue Management, Operations, and Catering for large-scale bookings.

Essential Job Functions

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Architect and execute comprehensive sales plans to maximize revenue across all facets of the hotel portfolio.
• Identify and penetrate new market segments while optimizing existing revenue streams.
• Oversee account management for the area, ensuring meticulous documentation and strategic follow-through for long‑term retention.
• Manage and grow the portfolio’s most critical "Tier 1" accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for executive‑level client relationships.
• Direct the integration of various departments (Revenue Management, Operations, Catering) to ensure flawless execution of large‑scale accounts and group bookings.
• Conduct deep‑dive competitive analysis and leverage market trends to position the portfolio as a leader within the local and regional landscape.
• Represent the hotel portfolio at premier industry trade shows and executive networking events, acting as a high‑level ambassador for the brand.
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Position Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
• 5 years of proven success in hospitality sales.
