The City of New York seeks an Area Supervisor (Highway Maint) to direct maintenance and repair of arterial roadways, medians, and related infrastructure across a borough. You will plan, schedule, and supervise daily operations, oversee snow removal, investigate defects, and ensure safety and compliance with policies.

Qualified applicants have four years of roadway/bridge maintenance experience, with at least two in a supervisory role, and hold a Class B CDL with air brakes.

Competenze

• Four years of full-time satisfactory experience as a working member of a roadway or bridge/tunnel maintenance and repair crew with tasks like debris removal and concrete work.
• Two years of which must be in a supervisory capacity, plus possession of a Class B CDL (air brakes) valid in NY.
• To be assigned to Assignment Level II, at least three years of supervisory experience is required.

• Direct maintenance, repair, and readiness of arterial roadways and related infrastructure in a designated borough.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily highway maintenance operations and storm response.
• Oversee snow removal and emergency response activities; review time sheets and reports; ensure safety standards.
