Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior Construction Manager to lead scheduling and planning on a life science project site in Cary, NC. You will ensure the right materials, equipment, and personnel are available, while maintaining a strong safety culture and guiding a diverse team to meet milestones.

You will coordinate across multiple disciplines and subcontractors, applying expertise in MEP systems, project controls, and procurement strategies to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of construction site experience.
• 12+ years as foreman/superintendent/CM.
• Strong safety culture and “Safety First” mindset.
• Experience managing large multi‑discipline life science projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and planning at the project site.
• Ensure right materials, equipment, and personnel are on site.
• Prioritize safety, health, and well‑being of the team and environment.
• Nurture team members’ development and guide them toward goals.
• Coordinate across disciplines and with subcontractors to progress work.
