Jacobs is seeking a Senior Architectural SME for the data center portfolio. The role blends architectural leadership with client-facing strategy, supporting hyperscale and colocation programs nationwide.

Ideal candidates have direct data center experience, licensed architecture credentials, and a track record of delivering mission-critical facilities, with a focus on engineering excellence and design differentiation.

Qualifications

:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
:20+ years of experience in architectural design, with 15+ years in mission-critical/data center environments.
:Licensed Architect (RA) with knowledge of building codes, ADA, and sustainability frameworks.
:Proven expertise in site planning, envelope design, modular construction, and BIM coordination.
:Exceptional communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

:Lead architectural delivery of mission-critical facilities and coordinate MEP/telecom/security.
:Guide design strategy, standards, and innovation in modularization and envelope systems.
:Represent Jacobs in client engagements and industry forums.
:Mentor architects and support knowledge sharing.
:Manage design reviews, QA, and construction administration across projects.
