Jacobs is seeking a Senior Architectural SME for data centers, offering a nationwide role with hybrid work flexibility. You will provide technical leadership, drive design excellence across hyperscale and colocation projects, and coordinate complex MEP and building systems with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor staff, contribute to standards, and help win high‑value programs by articulating value and delivering rigorous, scalable solutions in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in architectural design, with 15+ years in mission‑critical/data center environments.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA, and sustainability frameworks.
• Proven expertise in site planning, envelope design, modular construction, and BIM coordination.
• Proven record of technical innovation solving client's challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead design strategy and provide architectural leadership across data center programs.
• Coordinate architecture, MEP, structure, and telecom disciplines with senior teams.
• Shape upfront planning with hyperscale clients and drive design excellence.
• Mentor architects and contribute to thought leadership within Jacobs.
