Jacobs is seeking a Senior Architectural SME for Data Centers to provide technical leadership across a nationwide portfolio of hyperscale, colocation, and mission-critical facilities. You will guide design strategy, coordinate with MEP disciplines, and deliver innovative, scalable solutions for AI-enabled data centers.

The role demands extensive architectural expertise, client-facing leadership, and a track record of delivering complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture required (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• RA license and strong knowledge of codes, ADA, and sustainability frameworks.
• 20+ years of architectural design experience, with emphasis in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Experience with hyperscale/colocation data centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multiple data center programs.
• Shape upfront planning strategies with hyperscale clients.
• Lead site and building design; drive modularization and integrated building systems.
• Ensure code compliance and coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
