Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Architectural SME for data centers, delivering strategic design leadership across diverse programs nationwide. You will guide architectural delivery, coordinate MEP and security, and drive innovation in modularization and envelope systems for mission-critical facilities.

Lead client engagements, shape design strategy, and mentor a growing team of architects. This role balances design rigor with delivery excellence in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Minimum 20+ years of architectural design experience, with 15+ years in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Licensed Architect (RA) with knowledge of codes, ADA, and sustainability frameworks.
• Experience in site planning, envelope design, modular construction, and BIM coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multiple data center programs and guide design quality.
• Represent Jacobs in client engagements and industry forums to showcase expertise.
• mentor architects within the data center practice and contribute to thought leadership.
• Support design reviews, quality assurance, and construction administration across concurrent projects.
