Job summary

Z Modular is seeking a Senior Architectural Project Manager to lead architectural projects from design through construction, coordinating internal teams, external consultants, and manufacturing operations. This role bridges design and execution across multiple sites in the US.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in architecture, project management, design-build, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Licensed Architect preferred.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and schedules.
• Experience coordinating Architects of Record, Engineers of Record, and specialty consultants.
• Strong knowledge of construction administration and project delivery processes.
• Familiarity with modular construction, prefabrication, and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads architectural projects through schematic design, design development, construction documentation, fabrication, and construction phases.
• Manages project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinates multidisciplinary teams including architecture, structural, MEP, manufacturing, and construction stakeholders.
• Facilitates project meetings and communicates updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
• Ensures alignment with scope, schedule, quality standards, and business objectives.
• Directs Architects of Record, Engineers of Record, and specialty consultants throughout the lifecycle.
• Reviews consultant deliverables for quality and schedule compliance.
• Serves as the primary liaison between Z Modular and external design partners.
• Leads construction administration during fabrication and field installation.
• Coordinates design solutions with field teams, consultants, and manufacturing personnel.
• Oversees shop drawings and production-ready documentation for volumetric modular construction.
• Ensures design packages are coordinated and constructible for manufacturing.
• Supports transition from design intent to fabrication-ready deliverables.
• Directs architectural designers, drafters, and project team members across projects.
