Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer II in Phoenix, AZ. You will design and produce construction documents under supervision, coordinating with project teams to ensure adherence to codes and standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), and advanced skills in AutoCAD or REVIT, with strong communication abilities to interface with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
• Strong understanding of architecture, building construction and codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Run projects with minimal oversight.
• Design and produce construction documents and specifications.
• Complete designated scope of work within allotted time budget.
• Delegate, review, manage and accept responsibility for work of team members.
• Manage permitting process with minimal assistance.
• Assist in providing Construction Administration Services.
• Resolve technical issues and answer questions.
• Maintain CP standards and QC throughout project.
