Job summary

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to contribute to the design and production of construction documents for limited-scope projects under supervision of a Sr. Project Coordinator, Project Architect or Project Manager.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 1–4 years of experience and proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp, plus a fundamental understanding of architecture and building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 1–4 years experience in an architectural firm/field.
• General knowledge of RevIT, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketch Up.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of construction documents and specifications.
• General knowledge of methods, materials and detailing.
• Complete designated scope within time budget.
• Assist with permitting and respond to comments.
• Assist with bidding procedures and construction administration.
• Participates in site visits.
