Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of sustainable architectural solutions, integrating passive design strategies, renewable energy systems, and material efficiency.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and life cycle analyses for proposed projects.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and registration with the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience in architectural practice, with a significant focus on sustainable design.
• Demonstrated expertise in green building principles, energy modeling, and relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (Revit, AutoCAD) and sustainability analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable materials, construction techniques, and environmental building codes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving ambitious sustainability goals.
• Experience with public sector or institutional projects is a plus.
