Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Architect with independent judgment to lead project teams in Miami. The role emphasizes planning work, developing design solutions, and ensuring conformance to budget and schedule while coordinating with clients and consultants.

You will supervise junior staff, prepare presentations, and ensure QA/QC and BIM standards are met. A proven track record in sustainable design and project leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
• 8+ years' experience.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and adherence to project budget and schedule.
• Supervises preparation of technical drawings by other less senior level architects or professionals.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
• Ensures QA/QC and HOK Best Practice standards are followed in construction detailing.
• Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff; participates in professional development.
