Job summary

Bank of America seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to define an architectural vision aligned to enterprise strategy and platform choices. You will describe the solution intent, evaluate system impacts, and guide end-to-end design with non-functional requirements.

You will partner with product management to plan the architecture runway and review designs for security, performance, and scalability. You will lead cross-functional teams, communicate with executives, and drive integration

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of enterprise-level design experience.
• Experience with distributed operating systems, databases, middleware, mainframe and data networks.
• Experience on large-scale complex projects.
• Strong communication skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Consult with the business and operations to identify challenges and align the solution with the architectural vision.
• Plan and prioritize technology backlog items with product management for the architecture runway.
• Perform design and code reviews to meet non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability).
• Lead rapid shaping of a high-level architecture as requirements evolve.
• Educate team on best practices and standardization to create innovative solutions.
• Clarify architecture and assist with system design for development teams.
• Propose improvements to templates and documentation to enhance templates.
