Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define an architectural vision aligned to enterprise strategy and technology choices. You will describe solution intent, evaluate impacts, and help with end-to-end design across primary systems and interfaces.

You will lead architectural planning, ensure functional robustness, and collaborate with stakeholders to keep solutions flexible and modular. This role emphasizes engineering discipline and impact across teams.

Qualifications

• Defining an architectural vision aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Plan and prioritize technology-driven backlog items for architecture runway.
• Lead design reviews to ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability).
• Educate team on practices and best templates to enable innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business and operations to identify challenges, align architecture with backlog of technology changes.
• Work with product management to plan architecture-focused backlog items for epics/features.
• Perform design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
• Lead high-level architecture shaping with evolving requirements and modular design.
• Educate team on technology practices and standards to drive innovation.
• Clarify architecture and assist with system design for development teams.
• Use templates and documentation to create architectural designs and suggest improvements to templates.
