Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a skilled IT professional to design and develop scalable solution architectures for backend banking systems, including data warehouse workloads. You will build production-ready software using cloud, microservices, CI/CD, and REST APIs, and translate client requirements into technical designs.

Collaboration with business and technology teams is essential for delivering robust banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related.
• 4+ years of experience in IT or related occupation.
• 4 years of experience in designing and developing solution architecture for large scale data warehouse applications.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, Unix shell scripting, Autosys and Hive to resolve sourcing and distribution solutions.
• Understanding of Teradata ecosystem and ability to deliver solutions using that ecosystem.
• Experience delivering data warehousing solutions on a CDW/ Teradata platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using .NET, Java, Spring Boot, and REST specifications for banking applications.
• Develop production-ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies, including Microservices, CI/CD, and cloud deployment; create REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain banking technology applications.
• Conduct analyses for banking processes and translate requirements into technical designs.
• Provide technical excellence in designing and maintaining modern technology applications.
• Gather client requirements and translate into technical designs and business processes.
• Partner with business, product, and tech teams to deliver world-class technology solutions.
• Prepare presentation materials for meetings.
• Demonstrate understanding of product sets and business processes used within the organization.
• Communicate with internal clients regularly.
• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
