Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead cross-functional system engineering efforts, shaping the architectural runway and guiding complex programs. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of enterprise architecture/design experience (cloud, hybrid)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Extensive experience in distributed operating systems, databases, middleware, mainframe and data networks
• Experience on large-scale complex projects

Responsibilities

• Consults with business and operations to identify challenges and opportunities to improve technology use and align solution intent with architectural vision
• Works with product management to plan and prioritize technology backlog items for the architecture runway
• Performs design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability)
• Leads rapid shaping of high-level architecture with evolving business requirements
• Educates team members on technology practices and best practices
• Clarifies architecture and assists with system design for development teams
• Utilizes templates and documents to create architectural designs and suggest improvements
