Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Architect for the KEOS contract at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports mission-critical facilities and prepares design docs, including SOWs, specs, drawings, and calculations, ensuring code compliance.

Requires NAAB-accredited degree, 5+ years of related experience, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance. Proficiency in engineering software and Adobe Acrobat Pro is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-accredited program; 5+ years of related experience.
• Registered Architect in the US or able to obtain licensure within 1 year of hire.
• Experience supporting Air Force missions in DoD environments.
• Proficient in engineering/design software and common applications (Adobe Acrobat Pro, MS 365).

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME through project lifecycle from existing conditions to conceptual design and construction.
• Evaluate submittals, provide technical assessments, and develop modification packages.
• Review plans and details for construction and layout changes.
• Participate in design reviews and validation activities.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safety and code compliance.
