Job summary

Arizona State University seeks an Architect Senior to act as the owner's Design Manager during design and construction phases of Lab, Advanced Manufacturing and Research projects.

You will oversee planning, layouts, and technical specs developed by Design Professionals for scientific facilities, coordinating with SMEs in Planning, Labs, Interior Design and more, to ensure compliance with codes, budgets and program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in the field or an equivalent combination of experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Manage programming, design, production and observation of capital projects, coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage the scope, budget, and schedule through the design phases of the project.
• Provide technical oversight of construction documents, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate projects in accordance with Arizona Board of Regents policies.
